Women at Bars

I've always wondered what men think when they see women sitting at a bar alone? Do they pity her as a lonely outcast? Do they feel she's an easy party girl? Do they think she's bold for going out alone and go talk to her? What do men think?

Ladies, would you ever go to a bar on your own? If you have what was your experience like?

I've never done that because I've always been afraid for the safety aspect as well as the message that me sitting at a bar alone would send. I'd love to hear your thoughts.
